Here’s how you do it

Start out by boiling up milk or water and add your oatmeal as per usual. Blend a handful of strawberries with a squeeze of lemon juice and some freshly chopped basil leaves. When the liquid has been absorbed by the oatmeal, add in the strawberry mixture, basil and a pinch of salt, and stir to let the flavour work its magic. Once the oatmeal has the right texture, pour it into a bowl, add a squeeze of milk, some extra sliced strawberries and other preferred toppings.
